The first Hadjenci residents to emigrate to Argentina were Manuk Mutafyan, Ruben Garatazyan and Hovhannes Mankryan, who settled in the capital Buenos Aires in 1909. However, after 1911, a large number of Hajn residents joined them. By 1913, the number of Hadjenci residents was about 50. Their emigration continued during the First World War. In 1915, the “HADJIN” company was founded, which was the first compatriot union of Hadjn Armenians. In 1920, after the fall of Hajn, a new caravan of survivors settled in Buenos Aires. In 1926, the Youth Union was formed alongside the “HADJIN” company, with the aim of uniting young people around national ideas. In 1928, Finally, a decision was made. The “HADJIN” company was renamed the “Hadjin Homeland Society”, whose main task was the establishment of a city named New Hadjin in the Motherland. In 1934, the Women’s Auxiliary Union was formed. The number of Hadjin residents reached 910. The Cordoba branch was founded in 1930, the main goal of which was the dissemination and preservation of Hadjin ideas. The Hadjin residents were mainly engaged in shoemaking, butchering, and tailoring. There were intellectuals: Aram Tumanyan, Hambardzoum Gechidjian, and Abraham Eolmez in Cordoba. There were also doctors and merchants. The dream of all the Hajin Armenians in Argentina, despite internal disagreements, was finally fulfilled. In 1958, the city of Nor Hachn was founded in Soviet Armenia.
